| Where possible, employees are encouraged to use Amtrak-owned PC’s or laptops for their remote access requirements. Employees who wish to use personally owned PC’s or laptops for remote access may do so, with the following understanding: |

FYI: If you are not a current user of the Amtrak Remote Access Intranet Link (RAIL), you must submit a Customer Service Request (CSR) through eTrax for approval before downloading and installing software. Without approval you will not be able to register or use the RAIL system. Please include your external email address in the CSR. Once the CSR has been routed and approved, you will be notified by email with instructions for installation and registration. If you do not have access to eTrax, please email your request to VPNM@amtrak.com. Your interest and cooperation is greatly appreciated.
